Oak furniture for home office or study – the best choice

If you’re looking to create a special working environment in your home, then our selection of oak office furniture for study and library is the best choice. There are several reasons for choosing Tudor Oak furniture. Firstly, we only use the best selected European oak timber. It is supplied from renewable sources in UK and France and air dried for several years. We then kiln-dry it in our purpose-built kilns on the premises, to the required moisture content. Each piece is carefully selected and all the components for the future piece are cut out according to a specification and the type of grain is carefully selected, according to the design.

Secondly, over the last 45 years we have acquired a wide collection of designs of different periods and styles. Our selection of oak office furniture includes desks, chairs, bookcases, cabinets, bureaux and many more.

Last, but not least, we can make almost any modification to an existing design – whether it is the size, the colour or the design feature. And we can make a completely bespoke piece – our cabinetmakers can do practically anything!

All our pieces have one thing in common – they combine style and practicality and are made to last. Each piece is crafted by hand using traditional cabinet-making methods. These include using dovetail joints on every drawer and we use only the finest materials; even the backs of our cabinets and chests are made from solid oak.
